Join us for Old Lyme's annual Midsummer Festival where close to 10,000 people gather in the quintessential New England town for art food and fun!  The Midsummer Festival is a gathering of arts-centric activities hosted by local schools and businesses throughout the town.

11am-4pm · Adopt a Pup! Friday’s Rescue Foundation
Come meet and greet with local rescue pups from this Groton-based nonprofit            organization. They have dozens of adoptable dogs that are looking for homes. Find a four-legged friend that is a good fit for you and your family! Learn more at                  www.fridaysrescuefoundation.org.

12pm: Artist Talk with Sculptor Alvin Sher 
Alvin Sher will give a talk about his imaginative sculptures. Based in Niantic, CT, the local sculptor has gained acclaim across the country for his artwork.

12:30pm & 1:30pm · Modern Dance Performance with Salma Allam Dance Theatre
New York City based choreographer and dancer, Salma Allam travels to Connecticut for a performance of The Lost Goddesses at the Sculpture Grounds. 

2pm-4pm · Musical Performance by Local Acoustic Duo Jeckyll & Hyde
